Chipping Event – September 14, 2026

Timing:
  • Your piles of limbs and woody vegetation need to be in place by September 14, 2026. Chipping will occur on or soon after the date.
  • Do not put your piles out before August 28. That’s 2 weeks and a weekend prior to the chipping date.
Instructions for your piles:
  • Stack your piles near the road with trunks toward the street for easy pickup.
  • Limit limb size to 6 inches in diameter.
  • Limit your debris piles to 3 per lot.
  • Do not mix logs with brush. Keeping them separate makes chipping easier.
  • Do not put Scotch broom, ivy, or blackberry vines in your chipping piles. Please put weeds in your yard debris bins for regular pick up by Dahl. For more info about these weeds, see this news article from October 2022.
